My son was on parlodel for a year. It never did anything for him. However, it seems that maybe something else was causing your son to throw up, like Giardi and helicobackter(sp). That's what my son was throwing up from. My son was on parlodel for about 3 or 4 months when he started to have seizures. We have never been able to determine whether they were from the parlodel or from the nature of the injury. I think the injury. Still he regressed when the seizures started, and has never regained the progression. That has been over 2 years. I have never heard of TBI patients not regressing. I have always been told they will take 2 steps forward and 1 step back, or the other way around depending. My son is 12 now, he was 9 at the time of the car accident. He cannot walk, talk, or hold his head up. He had a closed head injury with an intercranial pressure of up to 70. We still trust the Lord our God, no matter what. He is in control.
